Opponents Of Debt Hike to be Barred From “Super Congress”

Senators who voted against the debt ceiling hike will be barred from being on the panel of the unconstitutional “Super Congress,” as the Washington elite ensures all roadblocks to crippling tax increases and other planned assaults on the constitution are removed.

According to The Weekly Standard, Republican sources have confirmed that the likes of Rand Paul, Jim DeMint and other fiscal conservatives will be dismissed as choices for the new super committee partly as a punishment for their failure to back the debt hike and most importantly to prevent any obstacles to the committee passing tax hikes and entitlement cuts.

“Excluding those who vote against the debt deal will ensure that some of the most fiscally conservative members of the Senate Republican caucus, including most of its freshmen, will be reading about the committee’s activities in the newspaper rather than guiding its decisions,” writes Stephen F. Haynes.

“Among those who have already declared their opposition to the deal: libertarian-leaning senators Mike Lee and Rand Paul; Jim DeMint, the aggressive fiscal hawk from South Carolina; conservative reformers Ron Johnson from Wisconsin and Pat Toomey from Pennsylvania; the ranking member on the Senate Budget Committee, Jeff Sessions; and Florida’s Marco Rubio, already one of the highest-profile conservatives in Congress.”

    Well, we tried the soap box and no one listened. Then we tried to influence our Congressmen to use the ballot box to stop the runaway deficit spending by telling them to just VOTE NO!! The majority of Congressmen would not do that. The time to move to the next box is upon us.

    Ah government of the people, by the people and for the people. Well, not really! Those in power stack the deck, they lie to and repeatedly deceive the American people, they have no intention of controlling spending or seeking fiscal responsibility, they have no intention of listening to the American people or performing their elected roles as "representatives" of the American people and they mock those who do represent the American people, i.e the Tea Party. The mistake "we the people" are making is that we are trusting human government to fix the problem. Once we threw God under the bus back in the 1950's, we have seen a steady downhill course for America. The immorality and decadence that characterize the people are also evident in the leadership in all three branches. We are witnessing the death throes of America as we have known it. Not surprising when one reads history they learn that every great empire collapsed from within because of moral and economic problems. But then, so many younger Americans can't read anyway . . . another result of government programs! Wake up America!

    I hate to say this but it looks like we are slowly, but surely, headed in the direction of civil war in OUR country. At this time war could be triggered several ways. This war will be the people against the government. The people will lose because the government will call in the UN to restore peace, or at least its definition of peace. Marshall Law will be declared nationwide. Elections wil be indefinately suspended in the interest of "public safety." Elected officials in office will remain in office, also indefinately. The US will be ushered into the New World Order, whether the people want it or not.
    Someone PLEASE convince me I am wrong.

      I don't believe that the UN forces will be a match for the people of the USA which also includes our military, which this administration has been dumping on, they will be with us not the UN.
      In a separate post, I wrote that we need to get the Tea Party going and prove that Obama is not eligible to be the President of the United States of America, which has all ready started. That will make everything he has done null & void and we get to start all over.

    Congressional Reform Act of 2011 – on Facebook. We must start to work on an Amendment to the Constitution to take back the power of Congress. It is time they answer to the people and live under the same rules as the people that they are supposed to represent. Congress as it stands does not work and will never work until the rules are changed. Term limits will weed out entrechment and paralysis that happens when career politician's turf is being threatened. Let's all act in what is the best for the future of our country.

    The electoral system is broken. All of the rules and regulations relating to elections have made the system nearly useless. If it were working as intended, the popular vote would carry more weight. Obama did not win the majority of the popular vote, yet he was hailed as the victor in 2008. In Illinois, the governor was elected elected by five of 101 counties. This was again a case where the popular vote did not come even close to determining the election results. It takes an organization, such as the Tea Party, to manipulate a victorious election. It seems that the individuals vote means very little anymore. Getting rid of the immoral, self-centered socialists is going to be very difficult with today's election system.

    The Washington Times had an article that called for Obamas impeachment and it has been circling arond on the internet. I couldn't make the link to the Times because it was pulled down. I hope that some of you get that and keep it going.
    We need to all pull together and real soon before 2012. This super congress will definitely make an end to all of this posturing for sure. Because that is all we are doing right now is running our mouths! We need to shut them up and get to work. The one element that alarms me most about the super congress is that there will be no checks and balances. That would be right up their ally to do everything in hand to finish us off. The first thing would be that there would be no elections in 2012. Second, there would be gun control. (no guns to oppose). Third, a total dictatorship over the american people. Fourth, the elimination of all that HAD opposed from the beginning. Kinda' all sounds like communism… doesn't it?

    Comments citing China's OWNERSHIP of the United States keep on coming up, and it makes me VERY CURIOUS. Can ANYONE TELL ME just exactly HOW we ACQUIRED this debt? Some say "we" took out LOANS from China. If so, WHAT KIND of loans, and WHO AUTHORIZED THEM? Throughout most of my 65 years of life, the proposition that the United States is the WEALTHIEST OF ALL COUNTRIES has been BEATEN INTO MY EARS! If that's TRUE, then how in the KINGDOM OF THE UNDERWORLD can we be needing to EVER BORROW ANYTHING FROM ANYONE? What's EVEN WORSE is that now that we are in more debt than we can PAY, apparently our SOVEREIGNTY is up for COLLATERAL. HOW IS ANY OF THIS ACCEPTABLE?
