Tax Fraud Suspected in Obama Land Deal

The “buffer zone” parcel at the Obama family mansion in Chicago’s upscale Kenwood neighborhood purchased by the wife of convicted felon Tony Rezko was transferred to Barack and Michelle Obama without ever being assessed or taxed, in apparent violation of Illinois law, according to a debt-collection expert.

“The Cook County Assessor’s Office told me that there is no record of any tax assessment having been done on this transfer of the buffer zone property into a Northern Trust Co. Deed in Trust,” Albert Hendershot told WND.

Hendershot, president and owner of Innovative Portfolio Recovery Inc, a debt collection and skip tracing company based in Birmingham, Ala., noted the buffer zone “does not have an address attached to it, which is probably how the assessment and tax were avoided.”

    Why does it say the property was transferred to Obama? Shouldn't it say, it was sold to Obama? I wouldn't be so suspicious about the wording in the article except for the fact that the owner was the wife of a convicted felon. I wondered what he was convicted of so I checked him out. It's a very interesting story. Google, convicted felon Tony Rezco and you will see. The whole thing with the house is suspicious. The Obama,s moved from a condo that they had paid a little over $27,000. for and moved into a mansion. I wonder who paid for the mansion for them??? Very interesting!!!

    It is way past time for allowing obozo to violate law just because he is the (illegal) president, what is happening is not a condition of preserving the office of the president, it is allowing a person to use that limited immunity to violate American law, and it has to stop. Where is the person with enough gonads to take out a complaint in a court of law against this usurper? Where is the law enforcement officer who will make the history books as filing against obozo? Where is Congress?
    What would happen if enough Americans found documentation of obozo violating law and then go to the district court and filing a complaint, for certain, every America would have "standing", I can see no reason for not having "standing" as what obozo is doing effects every American citizen.

Case in point Rangel,Kerry,the New Orleans freezer man convicted of taking bribes and had 90k in his freezer and the rest of them.     I agree with all of the above comments, and all I have to say is, If we can't get this guy impeached, and thrown out of office, and hopefully convicted of fraud, then we all will have to vote Republican in Nov. 2012. Any one of the Republican candidates are much more desireable than the current occupier of the White House, and would be better leaders to get our Country back on track, and prosperous again, with employment and the economy recovering.

    WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. military estimates that $360 million spent on combat support and reconstruction contracts in Afghanistan has ended up in the hands of people the American-led coalition has battled for nearly a decade: the Taliban, criminals and local power brokers with ties to both, The Associated Press has learned.

    The losses, measured over the past year by a special task force assembled by Gen. David Petraeus, underscore the challenges the U.S. and its international partners face in overcoming corruption in Afghanistan. A central part of the Obama administration's strategy has been to award U.S.-financed contracts to Afghan businesses to help improve quality of life and stoke the country's economy.

    But until Task Force 2010 began its investigation, there was little visibility into the connections these companies and their vast network of subcontractors had with insurgents and criminals, what military officials call "malign actors."

    The murky process is known as "reverse money laundering." Payments from the U.S. pass through companies hired by the military for transportation, construction, power projects, fuel and other services to businesses and individuals with ties to the insurgency or criminal networks. "Funds begin as clean monies," according to task force documents obtained by the AP, then "either through direct payments or through the flow of funds in the subcontractor network, the monies become tainted."

    The conclusions by Task Force 2010 represent the most definitive assessment of how U.S. military spending and aid to Afghanistan has been diverted to the enemy or stolen by criminal elements. Only a small percentage of the $360 million has been garnered by the Taliban and insurgent groups, said a senior U.S. military official in Kabul. The bulk of the money was lost to profiteering, bribery and extortion by criminals and power brokers, said the official, who declined to provide a specific b
