TEA Party Candidate to Challenge Boehner in 2012

TEA Party supporter David Lewis announced Friday he will challenge House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) in a Republican primary in 2012.

Lewis describes himself “a devout Christian, Tea Party leader, and pro-life leader” on his campaign website. “David’s only allegiance is to God and cannot be swayed by party, individuals, or interest groups,” the site reads.

Lewis told The Cincinnati Enquirer his candidacy was prompted by Boehner’s support of a federal budget that included funding for Planned Parenthood.

Lewis participated in anti-abortion activist Randall Terry’s sit-in at Boehner’s Congressional office in February, where he and five others were arrested on charges of unlawful assembly after blocking the hallway outside Boehner’s office. Terry is the founder of Operation Rescue.

    As bad as Boehner may be, I really don't want a Jesus freak calling the shots … who knows what the voices in his head are telling him to do. I want someone with a solid foundation in conservative economics who will support the concepts of "personal responsibility", "self reliance" and free enterprise capitalism.

    Boehner may not be my favorite politition however when that stupid debt debacle was going on it seemed to me that Boehner was the hardest working person in congress, I also believe that you give him a republican whitehouse and senate you will see a better more efficient speaker of the house.

    What we need to find out about anyone up for election is what organizations they are affiliated with. Free Masonry is the common denominator in the groups that are pushing the One World Agenda: The Illuminati (yes, it still exists), Masons, Shriners, Rotary Club International, Trilateral Commission, United Nations, Council of Foreign Affairs, Bilderberger Institute, Labor Unions, Vatican, and the National Conferences of many Protestant religions! To see a list of the people that belong to these groups just enter “the worlds’ richest people” into your search bar on the internet. These people know that in order to get the citizens of the countries of the world to accept this One World System that they must first crush the economies of each country so that we will accept this system rather than starve to death. But know that anyone that is not part of their group will become enslaved! Just look at what is happening today, open your eyes and see the truth! We must return to living by what the Bible really says – it is the Word of God and is to be taken literally!

    I wasn't very happy with Boehner early on. The tears bit was flat out weird. That said I think he has been doing a much better job as of late.

    I think we need to be careful about jumping to a new candidate we don't kow much about. That is how we got Obozo. I'm definitely a Tea Party supporter but I need to know a lot more about an individual like David Lewis then I do now before I throw my support behind him or her. Irresponsible, ignorant voting brought us the disaster we are mired in right now.

    I agree that it is time for Speaker Boehner to retire. He has been in the sewer with all the political scum bags too long and now for a new sewer rat to take the Speakership. It is unfortunate when I see that witch Pelosi's face on the tv more than Boehner. Of course the liberal scum media like Pelosi and will promote her ugly pie hole more than a GOPer. But, the Speaker and his cronies have an obligation to get out there in the liberal scum media's face and get as nasty as former scum bag Weiner used to do. Forget all that BS about taking the High Road when it comes to politics. In order to defeat Obama and his Axel-dick protege, the GOP and Conservatives have got to roll in the dirts with the scumbags. McCain took the high road and look what happened.

    Last week in Natlional pole amongst Republicans, 51% support radical hatefull Christian TP agenda, 49% did no. I believe that if a TP canditate like Perry is the Rep. nominee many of those non TP Repbublicans will stay away from the poles or vote for for some common sense with the Democrats.

    When you play ball with the devil, as Congressman Boehner did when he played golf with Obama, you are going to get burned. When it was announced that Boehner was going to play golf with Obama I predicted that Boehner would become useless as a Republican leader and it looks like I was right. Anyway he needs to go, he seems to like playing footsie with Obama.

    John Boehner, compromises with obama and cuts his own throat in the process. I was glad to win back the congress and thought Boehner was going to have some nads, he does not.

    When the democrat had all three houses and fail to pass a budget and then loses the congress to the GOP and now say it's the GOPS fault. Boy they set you up be time Boehner and you fell for it hook line and sinker. I'll bet you're the brunt of the jokes in congress these days, better grow some nads are you are so outer of here.

    Definitely need to research David Lewis to insure he truly is a tea party supporter and not a fake like the fake tea party candidate that pulled votes from the conservative in the New York election giving the democrat that election in what was a solid conservative district. The voters failed to do their research, the man was a democrat touting he was a tea party candidate to purposely defeat the true conservative candidate. No one bothered to do their research on him as they didn’t on Obama. A young college conservative journalist tried to interview him exposing him by asking him about being a registered democrat, the fake tea party candidate told the young journalist to get out of his face, but the media didn’t cover that story.
