Rush Limbaugh Endorses Ron Paul’s Economic Plan

Rush Limbaugh’s endorsement of Ron Paul’s economic plan is a breath of fresh air. For the last several years the most capable and consistent conservative radio host couldn’t find a good word to say about the most capable and consistent conservative politician. All of sudden, Limbaugh declared that Ron Paul’s economic plan can save the country. He of course added, that Ron Paul stole it from him, which was ridiculous and unnecessary: In the age of the Internet it is easy to find out that Ron Paul has been saying the same things 35+ years ago, when Limbaugh was still a music disc jockey and hadn’t discovered conservatism yet. We all knew Limbaugh has been saying the same things in the last ten years or so, and we all knew the two men had the same libertarian approach to economics. There was no need for Limbaugh to make a fool of himself in such a way.

This endorsement means two things.

First, it unequivocally shows that Rush Limbaugh is an honorable and consistent man, even if I disagree with some of what he says and believes. Even in his attempt to ascribe to himself the fatherhood of Ron Paul’s economic plan, he did not shy from praising Ron Paul for his courage and tenacity. And he did not miss indicating that Ron Paul is serious about it and it is not just a campaign promise. Rush also did not miss taking a stab at the other candidates and at the Republican Party in general for only talking about budget cuts but never doing anything about it. That’s right, that same Republican Party to whose service he devoted a large part of his life and career. Limbaugh indicates he is disappointed with the Republican Party – enough to endorse Ron Paul whom he has treated less than honorably in the past.

Second, it shows that Rush Limbaugh is betting on a victory for Ron Paul in the Republican primaries. He knows Ron Paul can and will win. Why do I think so?

The problem I have with Ron Paul is that he is an isolationist. Sorry everyone, he does have some very good ideas, yet that just won't work. Neither will turning our backs on Iran and allowing them to build nuclear weapons. Remember one of their goals is to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. The USA too!

This endorsement may be the one that makes Paul marginalized for good. I hope not though!

    How about Paul/Cain OR Cain/Paul?

    I would vote for that.

Its about time Rush comes out of his neocon skin and opens the truth.. it is definitely a breath of fresh air.. All the other candidates are nothing more than a bunch of rhino's supported by the banking cartel and big pharmaceutical co.(Romney). Match any one of those rhino thug's political record and you will see Ron Paul's record trumps over theirs. Do you own research and go to The daily Paul .com site.. see it for yourself. 98% of talk radio disrespects Ron Paul… Amen to Rush.. its about time.. America is even sick of the word government because, we know its gotten to big and corrupt and Ron Paul is the only one that said we need major changes and not changes like what the left talk about.. changes going back to our basic fundamentals for what our country stood for.. People don't fall for the media hype.. Most of the media is part of the left/right establishment. They should all be charged.

We have candidates that are pointing the way to a Conservative America where the exercising of freedom of speech and the right to assembly give us the voice to be heard by a other wise large, deaf government.
RP is one who has a working knowledge of government and we do need to hear what he says to check this government gone amuck, not all he says do I agree with but he has salient points. Cain has a fundamental taxation plan, he needs to embellish it with clarity, it is simple and effective but he has not built in the ways to make the congress repect it as the will of the people and there in lies the rub.

We must overcome this elitst cancer that has is a result of abusive incumbency, to much power and a need to control by abusing the rights of the voting public…this elitism is what we need to overcome and the candidate that represents the Republican party had best be able to work at defeating this kind of destructive power.
