NLRB Lawyer: ‘We Screwed Up US Economy’

New documents obtained by Judicial Watch show acting National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Lafe Solomon joking that the NLRB’s suit against Boeing would kill jobs in South Carolina. Commenting on a Planet Labor article whose headline suggests Boeing might not be able to open its new plant in South Carolina because of “antiunion behavior,” Solomon writes:

The article gave me a new idea. You go to Geneva and I get a job with Airbus. We screwed up the US economy and now we can tackle Europe.

Solomon goes on to complain that Obama NLRB nominee Craig Becker may be getting the credit for the Boeing suit: “I didn’t read all of the meltwater articles but some of the headlines tie Boeing to Craig. Unbelievable.”

    Can someone tell me what union members get in return for their union dues?

    I was in a union for a short time. I never received anything and did not get protection when fired for not accepting my bosses flirting advances testing me to see how far he could go in a personal way. I was told I did good work but I was not the right hand person he was looking for. I later found out he has a history of sexual harrassment to female employees and nothing is done about it.

    Nothing! The "bosses" use the money to support corrupt politicians like Harry Reid and pay thugs to create chaos and threaten people. Their numbers have dwindled over the years, but their influence over governments, education, healthcare, and many other facits of our lives has grown enormously.

    I medically retired from Boeing. The union is just there to grab dues. The union does not give out one nickel for retirement to the employees. They are bloood sucking scum, and Boeing would be MUCH better off without them. This country should be thankful that Boeing is not outsourcing their factories to other countries.

    Why does this nation have BOTH a Department of Labor AND a National Labor Relations Board? This alone shows a pure bias within the hallowed halls of Washington, DC. The NLRB has morphed from being an adjudication board into an advocacy group for labor within the regime; this is prima facie evidence that it should be decommissioned.

    You allready have a govt. telling you what to do and charging you TAXES to do it! Now you want another govt. (union)in side the govt telling you what to do and charging you DUES (TAXES) To do what they want! Well, how about sending me some money and I will tell you what to do and what not to do!
