Chris Matthews Turns On Obama: ‘I Hear Stories You Would Not Believe’

In an explosive interview on MSNBC, Chris Matthews has harsh criticism for President Obama and his team of advisers.

I don’t have a sense that he’s ever had a meeting. I hear stories that you will not believe.

“I think it’s the people around him. Too many people around him are like little kids with propellers on their heads.”

    First time in his life, Chris Matthews as something to say. He is right to suggest that Obama has not produced any opinions on what he would do for us in the next 4 years. Obama spends all of his time blaming Republicans and lecturing the American people like we are his children who have misbehaved. If Chris Matthews can be turned against Obama, anyone can….that gives me a little bit of hope. We can't handle another 4 years of Obama.

    The only thing Obama has changed dramatically is the entire world's level of repsect fo the office of President of the United States. And not for the better! Even Carter and Clinton did not do as much damage. He has been absolutely abysmal.

    It is possible that Chris did the math and realized the end of this country. I'll bet George called him up and gave him "what for" about that speech. It should be used by conservative ads. More effective to have the left trash themselves.

    It's about time these idiots wake and realize what "Obummer" is all about. He wants to give amnesty to the illegals because he wants their votes but to me any official who allows anything ILLEGAL in this Country needs to be out of office ASAP!! AND his ulterior motive is to take America down and he's doing quite a job of that. God help this Country and help the American citizens to stand up & vote him out or Impeach him before the next election.

    A loser will only associate with losers and will attract losers. Leaders will attract leaders. It clearly demonstrates that Obama is NOT QUALIFIED to be the President of the US. Smart intelligent people stay away from Obama and Obama's ego will not allow smart intelligent people to enter his circle, so subsequently you have the current situation.

    I would not give Obama a MOP job at my company, he is not qualified.

    I also have to laugh at Matthews. It speaks volumes of the discernment and credulous nature of Matthews. Go back 3-1/2 years ago and he was in love with Obama like the rest of mindless naive Americans who voted for Obama. Oh so now he wakes up. Matthews is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to TV and newspaper journalism. TV and newspapers today are only interested in selling advertisement space and perpetuating controversy they could care less about objectivity and intelligence and the American people. It is a billion dollar a year industry. Objectivity and intelligence does not sell newspapers. Subsequently they only hire mindless credulous people who can be molded by the corporate culture and structure of the TV network or newspaper to write, support, teardown, build up, etc to perpetuate controversy in the name of circulation.     It is not like journalism of long ago when respectable journalists like Murrow, Cronkite, Severide, and Rooney were molded by WWII and who had a REAL empathy towards the American people and the Country. Moreover their bosses who ran the newspapers and networks were equally yoked in the same empathy and real concern for the American people and the country itself. Yet they stand there and point the finger at Enron, Wall Street, etc. when they themselves are no different There are exceptions like Fox News, but the rule they are all prostitutes and are only focused on money.

    Huh? Mathews seems to be blaming the President for not being in full campaign mode right now at a time when the Republicans have yet to select a candidate and the Democrats have yet to officially anoint him as their candidate.

    I for one am glad that the Obama is still focused on governance as he should be.

    If only the Republicans had ever gotten out of campaign mode and taken seriously the responsibility to govern, maybe the country would have made more progress toward economic recovery. Instead, the Republicans in Congress have taken an ideological a approach every bit of legislation as if they had won every election by landslide margins. They have made every piece of legislation a football with which to score political points with their base. This isn't governance.

    The right-wing does not have a corner on patriotism, good ideas or even common sense. What the right-sing does seem to have is a rigid adherence to an ideology that is often at odds with fact. The Republican's rigid adherence to ideology over evidence is probably the greatest threat to the nation right now.
