U.S. Food Companies “Blessing” Food in the Name of Allah

we learn that big-name food producing companies are following Islamic halal standards. Here’s a story reported by WorldNetDaily:

As you sit down with your family on Thanksgiving and consider offering a prayer of gratitude, be aware the turkey at the center of the table may have already been “blessed” – in the name of Allah.

Customer service representatives from Butterball, one of America’s most popular Turkey brands, confirmed to WND that the company’s whole turkeys are – without being labeled as such – slaughtered according to Islamic “halal” standards.

“Halal slaughter involves cutting the trachea, the esophagus and the jugular vein and letting the blood drain out while saying, ‘Bismillah allahu akbar’ – ‘in the name of Allah the greatest,’” explains Pamela Geller, author of “Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance.” “Many people refuse to eat it on religious grounds. Many Christians, Hindus or Sikhs and Jews find it offensive to eat meat slaughtered according to Islamic ritual.”

We bless our food and thank GOD for it before we eat. I believe God is fine with us doing that. Especially when we don't know what has gone before.

Just read that scripture the other day and always bless my food. Amen!!!

  • ablingcain

Bought butterball turkeys for last 10 years. No longer support any Islamic connected commercial entity.

  • Bill

Well it's time to blackball butterball turkeys. All companies conducting these practices should be boycotted out of business. The public needs to check on how much government money is being given for this crime against Americans.

    Who is GOD?

I really believe people should read a little history before they write stuff down. Some people are brain washed so badly that it simply amazes me, but we all have the right to worship as we please so to each his own.

This is why the “illuminati” or “powers that be” will always have an upper hand cause people for the most part are just fumbling around in the dark. Hence the term ‘light will always rule the dark’.

Get off your asses and go to your library and read some books. Question everything, be vigilant or get runned over, its your choice.

“Zarathustra also warned the people that there would be a Last Judgment. At the end of times, angels were to lead all men and women across a narrow bridge, where they would be judged by Spenta Manyu (which is described as a beautiful maiden); the friends of The Lie would fall into a large chasm of fire called Worst Existence, but the followers of Zarathustra were to reach Paradise, which goes under the name of House of Best Purpose.”

Sounds alittle familar if you ask me.

    ” Background:

The religion was founded by Zarathushtra in Persia — modern-day Iran. It may have been the world’s first monotheistic faith. It was once the religion of the Persian empire, but has since been reduced in numbers to fewer than 200,000 today. Most religious historians believe the the Jewish, Christian and Muslim beliefs concerning God and Satan, the soul, heaven and hell, the virgin birth of the savior, slaughter of the innocents, resurrection, the final judgment, etc. were all derived from Zoroastrianism.”

    ” Allah and Eurabia

Mohammed thought the Jews and Christians of his day would receive him as a prophet. But the Bible says that any new revelation must agree with what is already established in Scripture (Isaiah 8:20). So they rejected his Allah as a false god. And Mohammed replied by setting his Islam on a permanent warpath against Judaism and Christianity that continues to this day.

The Dutch bishop and other Muslim fellow travelers think they can buy a fake peace with Islam by playing relativistic word games as a part of an “inter-faith” dialogue. But Muslims understand much better than do post-modern Europeans that ecumenical appeasement is a symptom of a Judeo-Christian civilization that is weak and dying.

The irony is that the real danger from Islam stems not so much from ordinary Muslims as it does from sickly Europeans who have subverted their Judeo-Christian heritage in search of secular hedonism. Because they live only for the moment, they are willing submit to anything, including Islam, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the pursuit of pleasure today.

It has been more than 50 years since the late Christian apologist C.S. Lewis first warned about Western Civilization’s disastrous lurch into post-Christianity. But even he would be surprised to see how quickly Islam is filling the religious and cultural vacuum that is post-Christian Europe.

It’s not that Europeans haven’t been forewarned. It’s that they couldn’t care less. ”

Read everything “EVERYTHING” you can get your hands on, then and only then can you truly make the right choice and have some pitance of what you write for if you read and study only one thing (the king james bible) and let yourself be brained washed by the church (which is a form of goverment/a tool of the government, illuminati, the “powers that be”) then you deserve what you get, total and complete control of by those that wish you to be slaves.

We as Americans should protect our rights as citizens of the greatest country in the world and stand up for our rights and thank God each day for the liberty we have. We should also never be so weak as this president seems to be unaware that he is supposed to talk up and not down. We are not a weak nation but he does not refrain from giving that idea to others. We want our people to always remember that they owe allegiane to America and all immigrants should have to prove themselves and not be granted what others have gone through for their citizenship. We should bring all of our companies back to this nation and act like an American citizen. Who loves us but God and Israel. Thank God for America. Marjorie Dedge

We didn't fill Butterballs coffers this year – -we raised our own turkeys (not difficult) and plan to do so from now on. We slaughtered them "our way" and gave thanks to Our God! At 19 wks, one bird dressed out at 32 lbs, the other at 22 lbs – -special note – -for turkeys to "do well", they have to be raised in pairs; one alone does not do well.
Don't laugh, but the 32 lb. bird was too big for the oven, so we had to cut it in half – -roasted 1/2 on Wed, the other 1/2 on Thur. Home grown birds are "the best"- -they've not been fed "growth hormones" and other garbage, so you get the juiciest, most tender, sweetest turkey meat you'll ever find!

Besides saying some words I think the basic procedure is the same as it's always been, cut off their heads and let the blood drain out, so I'm not worried about that, but I am getting tired (and perhaps worried) of the attempt to make America an Islamic nation. Most of us know what kind of place it would be then, it wouldn't just be turkeys getting their heads cut off, it would be anyone who wasn't Islamic. I am going to remember that too, every time I see or hear the word "turkey". I am also supporting RON PAUL, a real patriot who is one of us, and that's exactly what we need right now.
