Herman Cain to Endorse Newt Gingrich Today

Herman Cain might be out of the running as a Republican presidential candidate, but his voice still carries weight with his many loyal supporters. Since he bowed out of the race Saturday, there has been much speculation on who he would endorse.

Sources tell FOX 5 News that Herman Cain plans to endorse fellow Georgian Newt Gingrich on Monday. They say details of a formal announcement are still being worked out.

A spokesperson with the Gingrich campaign said there is a 2 p.m. press conference in New York, which would follow a meeting with Donald Trump.

      I really like a lot of Backmann's positions and ideas but it looks like she has absolutely NO chance of getting the nomination.

    Cain is looking for VP with Gingrich. Had he been the nominee, Gingrich was going to be his VP.

    It’s time we look ONLY at candidates that have a moral character. If they can’t be truthful to their partner, what hope has the country under their leadership?

    Ancient history tells us in the scriptures that when a culture decays with sin, the civilization falls.

      Hans… I don’t think Newt would select Herman Cain as a running mate if he does win the nomination. Generally a running mate is selected from a state that is needed to win the Presidency. They are both from GA. Time will tell.

      I would look strongly at Perry's character also. These are fine men in their personal loves and that counts BIG. We have many fine candidates with integrity, ethics, and courage to choose from.

      Hans……..Something that we all need to keep in mind is that we need a candidate that will beat Obama. We can not afford more of Obama. We all need to understand that is one of the most important things right now. None of us are without sin so be careful how you choose. Look in the New Testament at what kind of man Paul was before his transformation. He was actually persecuting Christians but look at what God transformed him into. You can't always judge someone by their past. Look at King David. He was described as a man after Gods own heart but even King David wasn't without sin.

    Dee your right on this.Newt is on the progressive plane along with Obama, Newt has supported almost all of UN Agenda 21 goals more control over our schools, NAFTA, he said that the only way the USA could be a world leader is get rid of the constitution. He supported Obama's new school program, he was in adds with Princes Nancy supporting green energy, and he was for cap and trade before he was against it. Newt has done more harm to America than good he is a chameleon he becomes a member of the party in power. Newt has no sole.

    I would be surprised if Cain would try to throw his support behind a flip-flopping, tarnished, establishment type Gingrich… although I would prefer him to left of center Romney. If Romney gets the nomination, I will probably vote 3rd Party. If Gingrich gets the nomination, I probably won't vote 3rd Party. But I really want an untarnished true conservative to be nominated. I also don't think a tarnished Cain will be picked as VP… although nothing has been proven against him & I'm still willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I think it was the Obama team with their tens of millions of dollars that trashed Cain, not a Republican political machine. I wish money did not count so much in politics & I wish we consistently got the best to run for President. The best want no part of all the dirt in politics.

    Cain and Gingrich are both unfaithful, and both ulta liberal so it would seem normal for Cain to endorce his woman hating buddy:
    Cain is also a raciest against black women, and wants to upgrade to a white woman from his black in his opinion, less evolved inferior black wife.
    Cain is an ultra liberal by his policies:
    Cain is pro- homosexual, he says "don't ask don't tell" is settled for now.
    Cain is pro- Muslim; he wants one in his cabinet.
    Is Cain pro- Sharia law? We don't know!
    Cain is pro- Fed, he doesn't want to audit them, even though they have caused 2 depression since 1914.
    Cain is pro – Abortion, he believes in pro-choice for women.
    Cain is however anti- States rights, with is 9-9-9 big gov. plan that over rides no sales tax states.
    Only in America can an Ultra liberal progressive democrat run on the wrong ticket. Are Americans hypnotized by TV like the event in to believing we need a black president?

    It looks as if many of us are being brainwashed. The one the Democrats fear the most is Newt. That is why the mainstream media is trying to stop his momentum. They know that Gingrich will be a tough one for Obama to beat, so witness all their concerted efforts to take Gingrich out of contention with whatever method they can employ. Don't give the winner a losing poker hand. We need to have the strongest candidate who can show just how inefficient Obama has been in solving our problems, or depending on your outlook, his success at ruining America. Gingrich has all the necessary ability to rid our country of this imposter in the white house.

    I will cast a vote for the Republican nominee. People who vote for a third party candidate will put Obama back in the White House. Get real folks. Gingrich said "anyone on this stage will be better than Obama." He is right.

    I was a supporter of Herman Cain for a while , but if he is endorsing Gingrich I will have to admit that I was wrong in buying his bumper stickers because he obviously is unable to judge character in people and would have made a lot of bad appointments . ELECT RON PAUL , He is a man of the constitution and knows that todays government is unconstitutional . That is why the progressive MSM are minimizing him , as they did with MICHELLE BACHMANN , a great conservative Christian . If the MSM can't find nothing on you to destroy you with they just minimize you by ignring anything you have to offer .     I am not at all surprised. One philanderer supporting another! Same lack of morals, principles, and ethics. Both of them are poor role models, and neither of them would do anything to advance decency in the US. Their personal lives tell the entire story. Pass people like that by. Surely, we have much better than that in this country.

    I won't admonish Herman for throwing support behind Newt. Herman wasn't who I was interested in, even tho I feel he is a good man with good ideas. I think we'd be amazed at who MANY of our other favorites would support. Each has their reasons and/ or personal knowledge of the candidate. For instance, Sheriff Joe Arpiao supports Rick Perry! That speaks volumes for me because I really admire Sheriff Joe. If Joe is satisfied with Governor Perry's approach to illegals, who am I to argue? I'm pretty sure that Sarah Palin leans towards Governor Perry and Rick Santorum. I've watched closely, her last two interviews, and she is saying to pay attention to them. They are the two that I am watching the most closley, and I was doing so even before Sarah's attentions. Check my earlier posts………….Our debates are still fluid and haven't settled. We're getting close.
