Santorum, Paul Compete to Prove Pro-Life Credentials

Debating whether Rick Santorum or Ron Paul is more pro-life is kind of like debating whether Iowa or New Hampshire is colder this time of year.

With a few degrees difference between them on any given day, both states are frigid and both candidates decidedly are against abortion.

But the shade that separates them suddenly is a campaign trail topic as Santorum accuses Paul’s campaign of being behind Iowa robo-calls suggesting the strident social conservative is pro-choice.

“Ron Paul is disgusting,” Santorum remarked to Fox News reporters Tuesday, in reference to the calls.

Paul’s campaign recently has tried to paint Santorum as a “liberal” on some issues, and the alleged addition of abortion to that list struck a nerve with the former Pennsylvania senator, who was in office from 1995-2007.

    I meant to say that Santorum doesn’t place the same Pro-Life value on walking/living human beings in the Middle East as he does unborn babies or fetuses/embryos. You can’t have it one-way Rick. You are either fully Pro-Life or you’re a Progressive using Anti-Abortion for Totalitarian reasons because it is obvious to me and many other Christians that you pick/choose what LIFE you value.

        The U.S. gov needs to get out of everybody's business- at home and abroad. Israel is much better at this business than we are. There's many examples. We flubbed getting our hostages out of Iran- released before right before Reagan got in. They got theirs cleanly out of Uganda. We couldn't find his WMDs They got rid of Saddam's nukes in 1981, when we backed him against Iran. He wouldn't have known unless we squealed on them. Just sell Israel what they need- they can handle it. They are our best ally and the greatest democracy there. Ron Paul is radical like Reagan, who fought his own party for changes- but we need something radical.

    Santorum will be the next to "get it". He will stumble and fall, just like all the other Republicans except Ron Paul. Santorum is up now, but he will fall too as his record won't support his rhetoric! Romney can't even get 25% of Republicans! He will get less independants than Ron Paul and NO Democrats! How the He// is he going to win a general election?

    Patriot, I hope you are right. It would be a breath of fresh air to have a President that actually cares about the country and the people instead of theirpocket book. It will also be nice to have someone that will restore the Constitution.

      Ron Paul aka Dr. Dementia is a serial violater of Article 1 Sectilon 8 of the Constitutuon and has been for 24 years. The only reason this garbage heap keeps his seat in Congress is because of all the earmarks he has takent. In case you didn't know pothead, that is violating the Constitution that this Progressive/Leftist lying trash heap says he upholds. Dr. Dementia, a lowlife you can believe in.     Some people don’t know of the testimony of Rick Santorum, and that him and his wife chose to have a disabled daughter, because they DO VALUE LIFE. He has been outspoken for mid easterners because of the Islam belief that our Nation must be overcome because we are not aligned with them. This is why 9/11 happened 10 years ago, and Santorom understands that continued threat to our Nation. To believe otherwise would be like the ostrich who hides there head saying there will never be another 9/11.
    I just heard this morning on Family Talk radio program, General Jerry Boykin talk that there is a very real threat of a dirty bomb happening, and we need to act on and pray about that threat. The appeasement that Obama is attempting, will never work. It only shows cowardice, when the need to stand up and do what’s right like Ronald Reagan had done is necessary. May God be with us in these times of need.
