Liberals Terrified: Paul “Most Conservative in Modern History”

Liberal columnist Bob Cesca can’t say enough disgusting things about Ron Paul, but amid the type of rabid, off-color comments we might expect from a leftist—such as calling the Congressman’s presidential campaign “political masturbation”—a striking, stalwart, stone-cold fact arises like the Washington monument. Ron Paul is measurably “the most conservative member of Congress in modern history.”

To a liberal this is a deathly insult, of course, but to conservatives it is a credential.

It is also a myth-buster for many people. While Rick Santorum, Dick Morris and others claim that Paul is “to the left of Obama,” the facts prove quite otherwise:

Based on statistics culled from the American Journal of Political Science and Common Space Score calculations from 1937 to 2002, Ron Paul has the most conservative record out of the entire roster of more than 3,000 Congress members from both chambers during that considerably long span of time. Put another way, Ron Paul is the most conservative member of Congress in modern history. Think of the most right-wing legislator you can come up with. Ron Paul is to that person’s right. Michele Bachmann, Steve King, Rick Santorum, Louie Gohmert — Ron Paul has them beat by miles.

Ron Paul is an ANTIESTABLISHMENTARIAN … he is an illusion of conservative … he appeals to the rebel side. But he has not converted anyone in Congress to join his Party. The RNC should not include him in the GOP Debates because he is NOT a Registered Republican.

Most of you little trolls merely amuse me, but you made me laugh out loud. No one can be as stupid as you appear to be unintentionally, so thanks for the laugh!

16 trillion in debt, the Bill of Rights nearly decimated, marxist ideology in government, i.e. the dialectical consensus process….public-private partnerships, China makes EVERYTHING, $3+ Gal Gasoline, U.N. taking over cities, losing sovereignty to a North American Union, DO TELL!! WHERE ARE THESE CONSERVATIVES YOU SPEAK OF?

  • ricbee

The primary role of President is Commander In Chief & he cannot fill that station.

  • LoneStar

Ron Paul is many things, But Conservative is not one of them. He is a died-in-the-wool Libertarian. Avoid Ron Paul like a you would a Rattle Snake.

  • Southern Jew

Ron Paul is nothing more than the other polarity of the same battery as Obama! He has only passed two bills in a career of over thirty years! If I was Ron Paul I would hang my head in shame. His un-effectiveness is exactly what the liberals want! His policies make about as much sense as stepping out in front of a Freight train thinking you can stop it!
Instead of one man running the country it will be a one man circus with the whole of the Washington DC clapping and throwing peanuts to him!
Just like last week he was taking issue with the HIVs problem! What in the hell importance that should take???? We need a Voter Citizenship verification and a citizen panel to authorize Absentee votes…With legislature passed that if you do not live in the State you do not vote except for government employees and military! Ask your self why he has never talked about this????? We have known since 1964 that the Federal Reserve is a problem! But Ron Bozo does not see the real dangers facing America!

The whole reason we have three branches of Government and a President is to create a system of checks and balances to keep the Government in line and avoid corruption. Unlike Obama, who is trampling on and sidestepping our Constitution every chance he gets, Ron Paul follows it to the T. The President is not supposed to have complete power by any means. As far as the Federal Reserve corruption goes, you've obviously never seen any of the Ron Paul clips over the past 30 years on that very subject. Ron Paul has fought harder to bring transparency to the Fed than any other Representative on the Hill. Do a little research. Read Dr. Paul's book "End the Fed". Ron Paul has introduced many, many bills over the span of his career and has usually stood alone in his efforts to keep our Nation in line with her Founding Documents. He can not force his piers to pass any bill so don't blame Dr. Paul because he has attempted to preserve our Freedoms to no avail. You might want to look at his voting record and take note on how he has voted on many of the bills that have passed through the House and Senate, like the Patriot Act and NDAA.

The horizontal checks and balances of the threee branches does not work if all three are grabbing power away from the three branches in the States. We used to have a veritcal checks and balances between federal and states. The 17th Amendment killed that part of the Constitution.

Ron Paul would be perfect if he made the repeal of the 17th the most important agenda to accomplish.

Some of you here that support Ron Paul claim to be Christians. So explain how a Christian can support anyone who is not opposed to gay marriage? That would be interesting to understand? All observant Jews ardently oppose Gay marriage! How anyone can not oppose Gay marriage and yet claim to be a Constitutionalists is beyond me. Explain what in the Constitution supports a faction of society small as the Gays are to gives them voice over the rest of us? Almighty God is the renderer of our rights as stated in the Constitution and the last I checked it still reads homosexuality is forbidden and punishable by death!

    • Southern Jew

As reference in case you didn't get my reference the Bible still reads "homosexuality is forbidden and punishable by death!"

      • orples

I am a christian and while I don't condone homosexuality, whatever someone does in the privacy of their own bedroom is none of my (or your) business. Let God deal with it, if he's not a happy camper. Don't you have enough problems of your own to worry about without worrying about what someone else does if they don't splash in YOUR mud puddle? Furthermore, I doubt Ron Paul condones homosexuality anymore than anyone else. He simply realizes it is not the Federal Government's business to 'regulate' what consenting adults do in their own private lives. Why do you anti-gay people feel like you have a right to dictate other people's personal choices? If I were you, I'd be more concerned with our National Sovereignty, which Ron Paul is/has been trying to salvage.

Great post and dead on. I believe Southern Jew is being disingenous. He is arguing about homosexuality because that plays well with Christians. I believe he is more concerned about Ron Paul treating Israel like any other nation on Earth, instead of worshipping it. This only plays well with misguided evangelicals who condemn anyone who is not "born again" EXCEPT Jews, whom evangelicals believe somehow have greater grace with God than they believe they do.

Why is it that the paulbots cannot answer anything without posting lots og go-to references??? They have been trained to do this. I would like to know how much money they have to p[ay for all this training. I saw one comment that lots of people had lost friends and spouses due to their devotion to this nut. . . Could it be that r.p. has been running all these years just to make money off the unsuspecting devotees? Something is fishy for these people do not act like normal people.

In reality there or only two kinds of Government: A government of, for and by the people. Here all rights are vested in the people and the people organize government to protect their rights from the criminal element of society. The other is a government of, for, and by special interest groups who seize control of government by force of armed or deception. Here all rights are vested in the special interest groups who will use whatever is necessary to subjugate and fleece the people. What we see with our two political parties today is a battle between the North side Mafia and the Southside Mafia fighting over the power to fleece our people. We see these at all levels of government, city, county, state, and national. Ron Paul intends to restore government of, for and by the people. The special interest groups won’t give up without a knock down drag out fight they have their Agent provocateurs in every strata of society.

Not if he doesn't get elected.

For those who don't want to vote for Paul, please name me a better candidate, and state why they are better. Romney is a liberal who is pro government healthcare, anti-gun, and places his religion above all else. Gingrich is a big government liberal in conservative clothing who has always voted for his own special interests, and not in the interests of the citizens or the constitution. Santorum voted for the very unconstitutional Patriot Act, and voted in favor of more gun control, and clearly doesn’t follow the constitution. We need a leader who follows the constitution, and that has a conservative voting record, and that man is Ron Paul. People take his foreign policy the wrong way. Paul simply wants to stop policing other countries and bring our military home to protect our country. If Iran was going to nuke the U.S., of course Paul would retaliate and most likely do a preemptive strike. Also, POTUS always uses advisers, and Paul would obviously seek advice from a military advisor – he's not a dictator like Obama!

    • SusieQ.

Just shut up… We have heard all your b s before. We didn't buy it then and we AIN"T buying it niow… Ron Paul is a goofy old fool who needs to be put out to pasture…

      • Scott

You didn't answer my question. Who is a better candidate and why? The problem with people like you is that you resort to rudeness without trying to debate anything. I asked a simple question, and stated my reason. Can you be just as civil, "SusieQ?"

      • StevenI

You answered that like a true liberal, with name calling instead of well thought out dialogue.

        • http://thechristiansolution.com thechristiansolution

Steven, I am glad there are sane people like you out there.

        • SusieQ.

_Yes, Mickey Mouse would do just as well. I don't feel the need to debate. Go on back to your seminar and give Ron Paul some more money. Is that civil enough for you?

Cesca needs a bolt of lightening up his nose once in a while to wake up his brain. It's called "Following the Constitution," Cesca! Liberal or Conservative, The Constitutiion is there for a purpose/reason. Ron Paul doesn't like war because it hasn't solved anything in the last 20 years. If anything, in more doo doo than ever. Ron knows "the system" needs cleaned. I don't know that Romney has the qualities to stand up and say, "The past 15-20 years of Federal Government has led the American People down the wrong path. Our Federal Government has been demoralizing the American People and we need to get some "guts" back into this Country and use the Constitution to guide us." Do you suppose?

Ron Paul scares me almost as much as Obama!……lets pray hes just a bad dream….and i wonder why i dont hear more news about why Muslims are excempt from Obama care? That should be a big story!!

    Conservative…yes. Electable in a national election..no.

The "most conservative in modern history" ain't saying much. Anything (including Paul who wouldn't even admit that Yahweh views sodomy a sin – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIeW0DY64bE) left of Yahweh's morality as found in His perfect law and altogether righteous judgments (Psalm 19:7-9) is left, liberal, and ungodly. Man's center is arbitrary, thus what he calls left and right is arbitrary as well. Yahweh's morality is our only ironclad standard by which everything must be judged.

I posted a whole bunch of comments, but I don't see a single one showing up. Is there something I did wrong?

  • AnF

I'm beginning to wonder whether this website is strictly for the promotion of Ron Paul. I spent a great deal of time posting what I thought were lucid, socially acceptable, critical comments about Ron Paul (not necessarily favorable). I originally saw them as posted; however, within 15 minutes, they were no longer there. I don't see a single one of them now. I must have posted well more than 10 comments.

  • soupsun

At this time in our history I think America better take a stand for the candidate who is the most morally sound. We do not hear constant lies and deception from Ron Paul. I see Ron Paul's biggest fight being with the massive immoral majority in congress and amongst the people.

  • megadama

THIS BLOG OWNER CAN PROVE HE'S A REAL CONSERVATIVE BY LEAVING THIS POST INTACT: Patriots, how much more proof do you need that Israel was behind 9/11? The evidence in this article effectively convicts the “jews” of the worst act of war ever perpetrated against America. And they know we’re onto them, that’s why they just had their buttboys in Congress and the Whitehouse ram through the Detainee Security Act – so they can start silencing people like us who are spreading the truth. Stop fooling yourselves, if “jews” are ruthless enough to blow up the WTC to get us to go to war for them, they’ll be ruthless enough to start making their critics disappear. They did all this when they controlled The Soviet Union. DO YOU THINK COMMUNISM HAS CHANGED ITS MIND ABOUT RULING THE WORLD? http://tinyurl.com/JewsAmericasWorstEnemies
