Worse Than the NDAA: This Bill Is Before Congress

Its called the Enemy Expatriation Act. It is probably going to be signed into law.

But first, let’s review.

In America today, the politicians have convinced most of us that in order to keep us all “safe” we must give up many of our rights and move toward becoming a totalitarian police state.  In the “new America”, you don’t get any rights.  They tell us that giving people rights is too dangerous.  Instead, you get some limited “privileges” which can be revoked at any time by the authorities.  Sadly, most Americans have become so dumbed-down that they don’t even realize what is happening.

The NDAA had only 7 “no” votes in the Senate. Wise Americans can see where we are headed.

The federal government has become absolutely obsessed with monitoring everything that Americans say.  This chills free speech because it gives people the feeling that there is always somebody “watching”.

This is not going to change.

    Well, I imagine Hugo Chavez will be praising this US Congressianal attempt to make law that spies on all Americans to ensure that they neither say nor think anything that "government" does not like!

      Now, do you also support the one candidate who has consistently voted against the Patriot Act. The only candidate that came out and blasted the NDAA?

        Unfortunately You are mis informed.. Chavez represents the 99% not the 1%, its the American Media controled by the 1% that makes you see Him(CHAVEZ ) this way.. Chavez along with the Russian Federation Critizied the NDAA because it violates international LAW… dont be fooled, now its a fact Venezuela has more freedom than the USA..

    Hello, we are already there. You are free to think but be careful what you say. There are cameras on every corner in NYC and at large intersections all over Long Island. Satellites in space can take a snapshot of your backyard. You can be tracked by you cell phone use. Privacy and freedom are gone. I long for the quaintness of the 1950s.

    This of course will be reversed amoung many other things when the truth of Obama's fraud on the nation this is just part of it. Marxism must have total control for its own power and tolerates no competition. Four state courts are now considering him on the ballot when in court everything will come out and then reversed having been illegal to begin with

      Jonathan you may be correct but the way things are going I want to know who sponsored this bill, who is supporting it and who are the seven that are against it?? All these new bills that are totally unconstitutional on the face of them, where is the Supreme court who should be looking at these anti American bills being put fourth.

          Ron Paul never voted for the mother of all these bills, the Patriot Act. He did not vote for the NDAA and he is the only candidate who has come out against the NDAA.

          Ron Paul has always stood for the Constitution and our freedoms from just this sort of stuff. We really are on a downward spiral into totalitarianism. Little by little, they are making this happen and they are counting on the majority of Americans to remain totally oblivious to it.

      We can only hope it will come out in the courts. But you must remember, most of the judges are liberals and like to make their own laws and/or interpret them as they want them to be.

        What most people don't realize is how tenuous a hold we have on SCOTUS; we are just one Justice away from the chimp in the white house getting anything and everything he wants. Comservatives hold a slim 5-4 margin over the Socialists and if anything were to happen to one of the Conservatives monkeyboy obama would appoint a Justice sympathetic to his agenda, and with the balance in his favor SCOTUS would gladly rule all of obama's actions to be Constitutional. Justice Anthony Kennedy wants to retire but has publically stated that as long as obama is in the white house he's not going anywhere because monkeyboy obama (disrespect intended) would fill the vacuum with another socialist puke like Kagan.
        If the socialists do get control of the Supreme Court look for them to strike down the 2nd Amendment as their first action. And then to declare the kenyan usurper president for life….can you say CIVIL WAR? I don't know about you but I'm putting all my extra money in precious commodities: food, water, fuel, guns, lead and gold. Martial law is coming…will you be prepared? Or will you be a burden?

      Really? You seem very confident this bill will be reversed.

      I find this rather odd, considering that the overwhelming majority of the Congress, including the overwhelming of the majority of the Republicans in Congress, voted for the National Defense Authorization Act, NDAA. Now this president and future ones have the authority to label any American a terrorist, lock them up indefinitely, without the right to a trial.

    Why do not the people call their senator and congressman and tell them they do not want this. And if you think that he is illegal and wont get away with all this . Your wrong, wrong. Unless the people tell our resp how to vote and if they dont vote the way we want then vote them out.. But I think it's to late for anything now. In 2 years we will have a dicator.

      Some people tell their dem obama-clone senators repeatedly that they don't want these violations of our privacy rights, but they are ignored. How can anyone vote them out when the dems control so many voting blocs? Our founders could have never conceived of these blocs. I think obama will be re-elected because of unions, minorities, welfare and foodstamp recipients, blacks, hispanics, single moms, gays, pro-choice advocates, environmentalists, on and on.

    States need to vet this issue before any primary election.

    Freedom and rights are like air…you are only accutly aware of them when thet're gone. The only place we, the people can defeat a dictatorship is in the jury room. Think of the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850, repealed in 1863 due to juries refusing to convict those accused of abetting slaves. The Fugitive Slave Act became unenforceable; same as the 18th amendment (prohibition) repealed with the 21st amendment in 1933.

    When crooked people are elected to office they are joined by the other crooked people to pass more crooked laws against us. All 535 needs to be replaces and term limits needs to be in place for all including the supreme court justice as no one should be appointed a life time job.

    Some of those appointed by obama were dead from the neck up to just like him and they do not have your best interest at heart.

    Time to take America back by voting out obama and his cut throat band of evil doers who are as crooked as the day is long.

      Yes, we must vote out Obama and all his henchmen. But, we must also vote out all the other Constitution haters, too, including many Republicans.

      Check out your Congressman/woman and your Senator's vote on the NDAA. THESE are the ones we need to target for removal, along with the liar in the White House.

      And, then elect true Constitutionalists like Ron Paul for president and Senators like Mike Lee and Rand Paul. Likewise for members of the House of Representatives.

If all were equal under the eyes of the law, THEY lost their 4th, Habeas, due process & trial too. But who would monitor a "public servant"? If we can level the field, they would also face the task of making their own living/retiring in the mess they laid…

        We are on a very dangerous path. These problems, w/out solutions, become revolutions. The quest is HOW? Finding a leader among sheep…? Our only hope is our cumulative vote – against a multitude of trough feeders,,,!

All I can say is deluge your elected officials with tons of letters, emails and phone calls, tell all your friends and anyone who will listen that unless we all act in unison, the American experiment is over and we are about to enter a new dark age.

      Mack, Senator Marco Rubio voted FOR the National Defense Authorization Act, NDAA. So, did Allen West. These people wrap their arms around the Constitution, while their votes continue to shred it to pieces.

      The NDAA has now eliminated the 4th Amendment and the Habeas Corpus, due process and the right to a trial. NDAA presumes any citizen is guilty and there is no requirement to prove otherwise.

      We are on a very, very dangerous path.

      Rubio is not eligible to run for POTUS either. Although he was born in the US, his Cuban born parents did not become American citizens until he was 7 years old.

    I resent a reporter who implies that the American is stupid and implying that we have never read the Constitution of the United States. C Stan, did you read that the most popular gift this last Christmas was a gun or a rifle?

    Our strength will come soon with the new elections. I would guess that everyone who voted for the NDAA will be voted out of office. Ladies and Gentlemen, it's come time to clean the house and the senate and start anew. My message for all of us is to get off your respective butts and vote! If you choose not to vote then you deserve what you get.

      Many of those sold to women. There were approx. 1-1/2 MILLION gun checks. That means 1-1/2 million guns sold during the holidays, that is of course assuming that each person purchased only 1 gun.

    Thanks to the Dept. of Education and public school system for dumbing-down the majority of children coming from poor and middle class families who could not afford to send their children to private schools. This is how we got here today. Taught that the government is responsible for taking care of everything in their life.
