Police Beat Woman, Steal Her Cell Phone’s Memory Card

Police are scared of citizens with cell phones that have video capability. Citizens can record what the police do. This woman claims that she was beaten by three police officers. The police took her cell phone and removed the card.

This made it into the local newspaper and onto local TV.

The police are saying nothing. They are hoping this will blow over. I don’t think it will. A lot of people own cell phones. They will notice.

Here is the description of her condition: bruised face, bruised arm, bruised lips:

Lewis’ husband, Sebastian Prevot, was taken into custody Friday morning and charged with resisting arrest. Houston police declined to comment on his case and said the incident report would not be available until Monday.

On the phone, Prevot said he did not stop far enough behind a stop sign. Prevot said he was pulled over then beaten in front of his northeast Houston home. Lewis, who was inside, came out armed with her cell phone. She said she recorded video until officers took her memory card.

Don't wast the taxpayers money dragging these parasites to court and charging them with civil liberties violations.
Civil violations have no potential jail time and rarely result in any form of punitive disciplin on the part of the officer. At best the family may win a settlement which will also come out of the taxpayers pockets as officers are often protected from lawsuits by their masters (the municipalities) or may even have insurance for such events much like doctors carry malpractice insurance.
Where local authorities violate those same laws they pretend to protect us from and rule the streets with impunity the punishment for such actions should be dispensed by and of the public of which they have abused. And such punishments must be severe.
On occasion the courts must be overlooked as they have become biased toward that system they have become a part of. Drag these officers out into the streets with very vehicals they patrole with and do not stop untill little if anything is left of their bloodied carcasses.

Watch this video and tell we do have a few BAD COP'S out there, time to do some house cleaning. Some officers have no business being in Law Enforcement.

They should email the pictures first, then comply. That way you have the evidence against them and they can't get to it.
Then sue for civil rights violations with the evidence you saved.
