One member of the U.S. Supreme Court, whose members are sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States, says she would look elsewhere – Canada, South Africa and Europe – should she be tasked with writing a constitution now.

The stunning statements come from Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

She was being interviewed by Al Hayat in Egypt, which is trying to develop a government after citizens deposed longtime dictator President Hosni Mubarack last year.

Egypt is facing major obstacles to a democratic form of government as the Muslim Brotherhood as a political party has been assembling a majority in the country. Among its goals is a Muslim caliphate worldwide

    If she dislikes the U.S. Constitution and believes other political traditions and document are better, hould the people believe that she will uphold her oath to support it?

    First of all, this article is incomplete. There is not enough information presented to give us an idea of what she said and why. I do agree that the court needs to be conservative and God respecting, which it is not nor are many of the Federal judges on the bench.
    Our constitution was written and modeled from the Scripture, the Law of Moses to be exact. You may have heard this many times and questioned it but it is true. For example, Aaron and his sons were appointed to be priests for life. Only their children in all future generations were Priests. The Levites served the priests. Our Supreme Court judges were not given the authority they have exercised in the last 100 years. Hearing cases relating to religion or the worship of God are not within their scope of authority. When the first amendment was written it referred to Congress because they were the only persons elected by the people to have authority to write and pass laws. Their actions were accountable to the people. The president is the executive branch and can only veto a bill not write laws. The judge must review a law written and determine if it is constitutional according to our system.

    These principles were the foundation of the government of Israel when God gave Moses the laws. If you read Leviticus especially you will be surprised how similar American law is to Scripture. The department of Weights and Measures is addressed in Scripture. Equal Justice Under the Law is the principle which God told to Moses, there shall be ONE LAW for ALL people, Citizen or Alien, if they reside in Israel. NO Partiality to anyone! Of course man never obeyed God’s law so corruption is the result from generation to generation.
    Mrs. Ginsberg is Jewish and she should be ashamed of herself. First to deny the LORD GOD is a violation of Jewish law as set forth by Moses, not a rabbi. The God who blessed America is the God of the Hebrew Scripture. There is only one God and He is that God. She denies HIM and thus reduces herself to a person without an identity. You are a Jew only because God raised up a nation of people and called them Israel. The name Jew came from the land of Judah during the Babylonian era. If you do not believe in the God of Israel and respect His laws then how can you come from the bloodline of a people who do not exist?

    If the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob doesn’t exist then Jewish people do not exist! What then shall Mrs. Ginsberg call herself? Jewish is not a religion. God is not a religion. God’s law is eternal and cannot change. Our constitution was written in the hope of having a similar respect. Thomas Jefferson wrote to the King declaring that they were forming a more excellent government. Mrs. Ginsberg should review our history and her Scripture and get wisdom as God’s Proverbs teach.
    Mrs. Ginsberg was asked by Egypt to help draw up a constitution? I find that hard to believe because Middle Eastern people hate Jews. Have you looked at the newspapers lately to see how all nations surrounding Israel would like to erase Israel, (the people) from the earth? Israel is a nation formed by God and no one can touch them without dealing with God Himself personally.

    In the end, all the Middle Eastern nations will suffer as a result of their hatred for Israel and their Messiah, Jesus. Mrs. Ginsberg doesn’t have to believe in Jesus as her Messiah but she must abide by the laws of America and the laws of God in the Hebrew Scripture and making a statement negative to our constitution is VERY Disturbing and should be investigated by the media, just as they did a witch hunt after Nixon and Agnew.
    The media are democrats and will not go after their own. So how do we obtain truthful information in the news? When will Americans put a stop to this by spending some time objecting to these remarks and demanding accountability for them? Go after the journalists who write the trash and report hate and destroy people by the power of their hateful minds and pens.

    We can obtain term limits easily, just vote them out of office. As long as the Senate has the same godless folks in there, you will see no change. Six years is a long time for a Senator to do much harm to our country. Every democratic Senator should be voted out, replaced, beginning with Mr. Reid and Mr. Schumer, to mention two real hateful nasty men. 24 + years in the Senate? WHY?     The bar must have been so low when Clinton decided on Ginsberg that she probably didn't even stub her toe stepping over it. Which French Constitution would you choose Ruth? Since they have had over 15 formal constitutions during the same period we have had ours. How about the German 3rd Reich "constitution? Is that something you could be support for the Islamists, since their view of Israel is so much like Hitler? And what part of the South Africa and Canadien constitutions are so dissimilar to ours? Or were you just carrying water for the progressives as you usually do?

    When I was coming up in age I had the understaning that a person picked for the SC were to do as our consitution said and not what they felt. I did not dream that a person added to the court Dem or Rep would pass judgement by what party they had been in. Since the court has turned out to be that way I believe that the people put on it should not be there for life. As is once on it they can play god. I dread anything sent to them today as I know they will be voting by their party or feelings.

    Everyone that reads this commentary or is exposed to it, should tell your family and friends. Impeachment is the solution! Lets show Ginsberg how the Constitution of the United States actually works. Write your Congress person! Demand rsults! That is our right as citizens. Pass these rights forward to the " Unborn Politicals" We need to politically baptise more so they are "Politically Aware"! God Bless America, before it is too Late!

    Another Ivy League Law graduate who evidently believes in socialist types of government. Why do Presidents select these Ivy League Law Grads??? All you have to do is hear a quote from a Liberal Federal Judge and check their law education and you will most likely find they are Ivy League Law educated.
    It is amazing that the IVY LEAGUE is a legend in their own minds. Check out the educational background of many of of the CFO's and CEO's who are connected with the economic failure of their commpanies. It would seem that the board of directors when searching for executives wants tosee that Ivy League Shingle on the wall in the big office.;
