Dem Congresswoman Now Regrets Voting for Obamacare

Former Democratic congresswoman Kathy Dahlkemper, a Catholic from Erie, Pennsylvania, cast a crucial vote in favor of Obamacare in 2010. She lost her seat that November in part because of her controversial support of Obamacare. But Dahlkemper said recently that she would have never voted for the health care bill had she known that the Department of Health and Human Services would require all private insurers, including Catholic charities and hospitals, to provide free coverage of contraception, sterilization procedures, and the “week-after” pill “ella” that can induce early abortions.

“I would have never voted for the final version of the bill if I expected the Obama Administration to force Catholic hospitals and Catholic Colleges and Universities to pay for contraception,” Dahlkemper said in a press release sent out by Democrats for Life in November. “We worked hard to prevent abortion funding in health care and to include clear conscience protections for those with moral objections to abortion and contraceptive devices that cause abortion. I trust that the President will honor the commitment he made to those of us who supported final passage.”

    Seems to me obama is trying his best to have us rioting in the streets with every crazy thing he does. No to the pipeline when it would create jobs and maybe bring gas prices down. Backing the occupy protest, now the Cathlics- who's next? I think he hopes to make us fed up enough to take to the streets and then he will be forced to put down the protest and declare martial law-only time will tell, but wait until this spring and summer and we will see.

    One of the dumbest things one can do is sign up for something you haven't read!!! These Politicians have been there way to long…They need to be FIRED. Of course they won't really need a job after that since they said that Politicians have become millionares since they became Congressman. They stole it from us!

    It helps one to understand why some foreign newspapers refer to us here in America as idiots. We continue to put people in office that have no intentions of actually doing their jobs properly. The whole idea of putting these people in office is to take the time to read this stuff they are voting on instead of playing the 3 monkeys days and weeks later! And if they wrote these Bills without all of the cow manure included, I "bet" most Bills would be half the size they are. It really is matter who's kidding whom!

    Maybe she should have read the bill before voting for it. Maybe she should have forced a reading of the bill out loud in the House and the Senate before a vote could come up. Maybe she should stop being pushed by her Democratic leaders into thinking for her. Maybe she should start to think for herself what is good for herself but, more importantly, for her constituents. Maybe she should stop trusting Obama and his cronies!!!!

    Hey, Kathy would you have been as upset about voting for Obamacare if you had been re-elected? It's kinda like OJ, he wasn't sorry for what he did, he was just sorry he got caught. That's the way the Democrats are that lost their seats in congress feel.

    Why don’t idiots like you THINK before you vote?  All you who voted for this thing now say Oh no, I didn’t think this would happen!  Well, we did, your all dumb S_its!  Those that voted for it are the useless people that believe that they know it all, but refuse to do their job.  That of a congress person is to read ALL bills before they vote on it. Not the Palosi way of vote before you read, what was the signal!!!  DAH!
